Ya'll..... Things are happening and moving, and I've been super busy with the details of it all. Here's a recap of what's coming up:
General News:
Life has (temporarily) stopped knocking the wind out of me, and may ACTUALLY be turning in the somewhat right direction to accomplish ALL of my goals, not just the writing ones. I've got some hope and things to look forward to at my full-time, so that's good. Maybe this depressive episode is finally coming to a close.
I'm about to switch over from a free website domain to my own domain. insert school girl scream I never thought I'd ever have my OWN website!! I'm also in the process of completely revamping my website (again). It's time to take this baby to the next level.
Novel News:
The first installment of the next quartet, Magic Reborn, will debut Summer 2024! (Almost to final editing/formatting/etc) I'm hoping for an August drop date. Stay tuned!!
This will be followed by Book 2 of the Wintermoor Quartet, Paying the Price, in summer of 2025. Book 3, Shifting Power, should drop the following summer of 2026. The final book, Conflicting Realities, will be released summer of 2027. At least, as long as everything goes according to plan!
I still haven't decided on a name for the entire 20 (or 21) book series. It includes the quartets of Cedarvale, Wintermoor, Briarwood, Rosestone, and Crescentwood. Man, I'm going to be writing novels until I die, and I'm perfectly OK with that. I've got 30 more to do after this series.
Poetry News:
My next poetry installment, Shadows in the Corner, MAY debut before Magic Reborn! It's ready for edits, and the cover is done! It's not final yet, but it's ALMOST there! This is part 1/5 for the Scenes in the Den collection.
Part 2/5, Stains on the Ceiling, will be released this fall, probably in September. Cover art is giving me fits, and formatting can eat my flip flips, but IT WILL BE DONE!
Part 3/5, Handprints on the Glass, will be released around the end of the year, if not Thanksgiving-time. I'm expecting this cover to be my absolute favorite from the entire collection. It's also almost done.
Part 4/5, Lights on the Wall, will be released around March 2025. If things happen to run smoother than expected, it could be released before the end of 2024. (Or if life continues to not bully me, I'll have some extra time to throw at my works.)
Final Part 5/5, Spiders in the Carpet, will be released next June 2025 (or sooner).
The final and full volume, Scenes in the Den collection, will be released BY July 2025, which will include all 5 parts in one bound volume.
The full collection, Home Sweet Home, will showcase all 5 Volumes of my poetry to date. Each Volume contains 205 poems that span pre-adolescence to current day. Just don't be tricked by the innocence of the titles.
